When I think of wrestling, I think of bodyslams, mascaras, and chairs crashing on huge wrestlers’ heads. But thanks to the WWE, we can now add lingerie, lipstick, and beautiful curvas to this list. I’m referring to WWE Divas, and especially, Candice Michelle. This Costa-Rican/German beauty made picking this issue’s cover girl an easy choice. More than a pretty face, Candice is a successful fitness model and has her eye on a big career in Hollywood. Now if only we could get her to come over and teach us some wrestling moves.

“I guess I’m a tough girl, but I have a soft side too.”

“Personally I prefer a guy that’s a little bit older.”

As a WWE Diva and fitness model, would you say you’re a pretty tough girl?
I guess I’m a tough girl, but I have a soft side too. I like to think I’m a little bit tougher than I am sometimes. I always stand my ground for everything, but I’m a lover not a fighter.

You got a lot of notoriety recently due to the godaddy.com Super Bowl commercial that you appeared in which pokes fun at the whole Janet Jackson controversy. Have you ever had a public wardrobe malfunction?
I have never had any wardrobe malfunctions that weren’t supposed to happen. But knock on wood, because anytime you say something like that, it might happen.

How hard was it for those old guys playing congressmen in the commercial to keep a straight face?
It was actually really hard, especially for all the extras, because everything in the commercial was improvised by me. There wasn’t a script where they knew exactly what I was going to say. They had a sheet of 20 questions or so, and the director would say, “Okay, ask her question number five.” They’d ask me and I wouldn’t even know what the question was. I had to come up with an answer for it, so all the people in the meeting would start laughing.

How did you make your strap come undone on cue?
I’d do a little shoulder movement nonchalantly to make it pop. They would ask me a question, and I would just do it when I kind of felt it was right. I’d try to do it when people were less expecting it.

You’re a fitness model which makes you qualified to tell us what the best activity is for getting in shape?
I think it’s boxing. I love boxing because it burns the most calories in the shortest amount of time, and you have fun while you’re doing it. I believe it burns off the most stress too, because when you’re doing it you have to concentrate. So you can’t think about, “Oh, what am I going to do later on today,” or, “What am I going to do for this audition?”

As someone that obviously takes being in shape seriously, should guys hit up on girls when they see them working out at the gym?
I would say, don’t approach a girl at the gym if she has her headphones on or if she’s on a cardio machine, this usually means that she’s not going to want to be talked to. Now if they’re just hanging around the front desk or the gym shop, or something like that, then you can approach them. But when I’m in the middle of my fifth rep of twelve and some guy is trying to talk to me, I’m like, What are you doing?!

Sounds like you’re speaking from experience.
The gym I’m at now isn’t really bad. But I remember another high-end gym, where for some reason guys think they can do whatever they want because they have money. I swear half the people at that gym don’t work out. It’s like, oh let’s go see if we can pick up some new chicks.

Um…you mean we’re not supposed to try to pick up on women at the gym? Well I think that’s half the fun of going to the gym, but let’s move on. Is there a minimum number of pushups a guy would have to do to go out with you?
Well I probably wouldn’t judge him by that, but considering at one time I could do about 52 pushups, I’d hope he could do at least as many as I can.

What about age? Would you go out with, say, Donald Trump?
Age usually doesn’t matter to me. Personally I prefer a guy that’s a little bit older, just because he’s on a more mature level. ■

Fashion, p. 47: Fuschia lace bra and thongs, Victoria’s Secret, at Victoria’s Secret.

Fashion, p. 48: Black ‘Playboy Intimates’ boy-cut panties with slashed sides, at Foreplay, Hollywood, CA.

Pull quote, p. 49: “¡¡Uff!! Caliente.

Me gusta mucho Joan Sebastian, me gusta mucho Alejandro Fernández.

¿Has pensado alguna vez en tener hijos?
